Unifying Film Production and Social Upliftment

Aarushi Nishank founded Himshrri Films to build a niche for herself as a film producer. The first film she produced was Major Nirala, a silver-screen adaptation of her father’s novel. It was her way of paying tribute to her father, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, former Education Minister of India. The film was released in 2018 and garnered widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike.

Other than the exciting film project, Himshrri has also executed an ad campaign for the Patanjali Group, among other things.

Being passionate about women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and other pressing causes, Aarushi strives to focus her production on social upliftment. Several celebrities, including Kailash Kher, Prasoon Joshi, Vivek Oberoi, Manoj Tiwari, and Arun Govil, have endorsed Himshrri films.

With each new production, Aarushi aims to explore new horizons and possibilities while spreading a social message. Her upcoming web series project for Hotstar, “Life Hill Gayi,” promises to be a powerful blend of storytelling and activism, showcasing Aarushi’s commitment to using her creative endeavours as a catalyst for positive change. Aarushi’s most ambitious project, “Tarini,” a Hindi feature film, is currently in the writing stage with Kumar Vishwas Ji being a part of it. This ambitious venture is set to retell the awe-inspiring tale of the historic circumnavigation undertaken by six women naval officers in 2015. Himshrri Films is also working on a web series for Amazon, along with other projects with the top OTT platforms in the pipeline.
